Pugh’s Flowers is a family owned and operated floral design firm. We operate four floral design centers in the greater Memphis & Southaven area. Pugh’s Flowers was started in 1976 by Bill Pugh and his partner. Over the past 40 years, Pugh’s Flowers has grown into one of the premier flower shops in the country. The flower shop is currently owned and operated by Tim, Michael and Mark. Bill Pugh’s three sons. We operate three retail flower shops in Memphis, and another in Southaven, Mississippi. Along with our floral design business, the brothers also operate Pugh’s Earthworks, Rosie’s Pest Control and a new business that will be opening soon, called Pugh’s Lawn.
Pugh’s Flowers imports the freshest cut flowers daily from around the world for our flower delivery. Why Summer Rose Sale?
Pugh's Flowers has a big Summer rose sale each year. This sale begins in June. Save $20 of one dozen long stemmed roses. Save up to $60 or three dozen. How can we do this? The answer is due to supply and demand. Our suppliers charge less for roses in the summer because there are no major holidays or major events where roses are in high demand. Pugh's Flowers is very proud to pass along these savings to our customers. Summer is a great time to surprise someone with a bouquet of red roses. June is National Rose month. June is also when the annual Pugh's Flowers Rose Sale begins. Rose colors have various meanings. Some people give roses based on these meanings, but others give flowers based on the recipient's favorite color. Today, Colombia is the dominant producer of U.S. cut flowers, with roses, carnations, spray chrysanthemums and Alstromeria among its top crops. Ecuador takes a close second. Both countries have exceptional climates for commercial growing, and both have successfully carved out their own niches in the most popular product segments. Ecuador's top crops include roses, Delphiniums, asters, Gypsophila (baby's breath), and mixed bouquets.

Michael Pugh, CFO of Pugh's Flowers, has just received confirmation that he has achieved the American Academy of Floriculture (AAF) designation. Pugh's Flowers is very proud of Michael! As reported by the Society of American Florists, this designation is based on an incredible commitment to both the Memphis community and the floral industry. Michael's personal and professional activities demonstrate the excellence necessary to achieve the high ideals and goals of the Academy. Michael will be inducted at the Stars of the Industry awards dinner on September 24, 2016 in Maui, Hawaii. Way to go Michael!

It's spring and that means it's time for prom. Every Friday and Saturday night in April you will see kids all dressed up with their dancing shoes on! Prom accessories are a fun way to give your date a little gift while accessorizing the dress and tux. The corsage should not exactly match the dress, but rather should compliment and accent it. An example would be that if a dress is a soft pink, the corsage would be a great compliment if it was a mix of soft pastels, maybe blues, whites and yellows.
