Pugh’s Flowers is a family owned and operated floral design firm. We operate four floral design centers in the greater Memphis & Southaven area. Pugh’s Flowers was started in 1976 by Bill Pugh and his partner. Over the past 40 years, Pugh’s Flowers has grown into one of the premier flower shops in the country. The flower shop is currently owned and operated by Tim, Michael and Mark. Bill Pugh’s three sons. We operate three retail flower shops in Memphis, and another in Southaven, Mississippi. Along with our floral design business, the brothers also operate Pugh’s Earthworks, Rosie’s Pest Control and a new business that will be opening soon, called Pugh’s Lawn.
Pugh’s Flowers imports the freshest cut flowers daily from around the world for our flower delivery. The Society of American Florists is having their annual convention this week where ideas are shared, award winning flower species are announced, and contacts are made among florists all over the country. National Grandparent’s Day, Pugh’s Flowers Memphis
The impetus for a National Grandparents Day originated with Marian McQuade, a housewife in Fayette County, West Virginia. Her primary motivation was to champion the cause of lonely elderly in nursing homes. She also hoped to persuade grandchildren to tap the wisdom and heritage their grandparents could provide. President Jimmy Carter, in 1978, proclaimed that National Grandparents Day would be celebrated every year on the first Sunday after Labor Day. When is Grandparents Day? It is September 13th, 2015. Pink Wedding, Pugh’s Flowers Memphis
Here is an interesting wedding theme, Valentine's Day in August! This wedding turned our beautifully! Tall and short table centerpieces, cake flowers, bride's bouquet and all the trimmings were pretty in pink! Roses, hydrangeas, gerbera daisies and rose petals were soft and feminine and really made this event something special.
